Ways Leonard Maltin has astounded me with asinine comments

  • Comparing an entire generation’s movie aesthetic to a happy meal, while insinuating your own taste is closer to steak.
  • Calling the death of a student a “bad decision” (It was a murder, stabbing.)
  • Using this as a segue to discuss the mortgage housing collapse and suggestion all the people who’ve lost their homes made bad decisions that led to that. “Failed to read the fine print, or even the big print.” – Never mind that isn’t true, or a very narrow view of factors in an overall economic collapse, but in incredibly poor taste as well.
